Team Elmhurst Soccer Club offers indoor soccer training

Monday, December 10, 2012

Team Elmhurst Soccer Club offers professionally licensed coaches that will lead thirty-minute indoor sessions where players can develop and increase their skill, control, decision making, and technique. After each session, players will have the opportunity to compete in thirty-minute futsal soccer games.

Futsal has been around internationally since the 1930s. It is recognized by FIFA, the international governing body of soccer, as its official indoor game. Futsal is designed to improve players’ footwork skills. It is played in a confined, small field to promote making quick decisions.

The Winter Training and FUTSAL Program is an eight-week program on Sundays from 2-3 p.m. at York High School starting on Jan. 13. For more questions please contact TESC Director of Coaching, Karsten Roy at DOC@elmhurstsoccer.com and to register go to www.elmhurstsoccer.com.
