Italy has reached the semi-finals after a titanic effort. The azzurri of Menichelli beat Portugal 4-3 after extra-time, despite being 3-0 down at half time after a 1st half to forget. Italy were able to recover with a revival from the squad, with the goals coming from Saad, Lima and AGLA SPONSORED FORTINO, scorer of the equaliser with less than a minute to go. The winning goal was scored by AGLA player HUMERTO HONORIO, 2 minutes into the first half of extra time, to take the team to the semi-finals. Portugal had finished 2nd in Group C (beating Libya 5-1, 5-5 draw wih Japan and 3-1 defeat to Brazil) and eliminated Paraguay in the first knockout round. We should not forget the amazing saves of AGLA PLAYER STEFANO MAMMARELLA (pictured), especially in the 2nd period of extra time, and MARCO ERCOLESSI, always timely and precise in his defensive duties.
Italy now face Spain, two time world champion, who overcame Russia winning 3-2. They play tomorrow (Friday 16th November) at 11am Italian time. The other semi-final is between Brazil (3-2 against Argentina after extra-time) and Colombia (3-1 against Ukraine) scheduled for 13.30.

In the second round Italy had eliminated Egypt 5-1 with a hat-trick by Saad and goals by RODOLFO FORTINO (pictured) and Vampeta. The Africans had come third in Group E (a 3-1 defeat against Serbia, a 4-3 defeat against Kuwait and a 7-2 victory against the Czech Republic).

AGLA 5-PAD on the bottom of each shoe to ensure it gives the maximum transpiration of the foot
AGLA ONE 2012 has
THE NEW ANTI-SHOCK SYSTEM in the heel to prevent injuries.
The sole is made of a natural
BIO-DENSITY rubber which gives grip in all game situations. It ensures maximum grip is available on all surfaces.
The soft upper uses the
SLIM SYSTEM and is an optimal mix of various materials such as canvas and polyurethane reinforcements for maximum grip, increased comfort and great durability, requirements for this sport.
