Indera Sports Club Win NFABD Redbull Futsal League

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (23 Oct 2012) – Indera Sports Club won the National FA of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) Red Bull Futsal Championship 2012 when they beat Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council (MS ABDB) 4-2 in the final last night final.

“We did not expect anything from the game but we surely wanted to win,” said Muhd Ulfi Aminuddin, the captain of Indera. “The team just concentrated on playing our best as we have a team of well-rounded players and we play well together.

The score at the half was 2-2 with Mohd Naqib Timbang in the third minute and then Mohd Amirulizam Pungut’s seventh minute strike for Indera were cancelled out by Md Zairul Hazmin’s brace (10th and 17th minute).

But Indera proved that they are just a tad better than the Armymen as Indera then scored two more goals through Mohd Amirulizam in the 32nd minute and Mohd Faiz (37th minute) for the well-deserved victory.”

Arbisham emerged third after beating Kota Junior 4-2.
