PSSI Organise First Ever Futsal Coaching Course

JAKARTA (25 Oct 2012) – The first ever AFC Futsal Level One Coaching Course is being organised by the FA of Indonesia (PSSI) at the Tifosi Sport Center in Indonesia’s national capital Jakarta.

The six-day course’s opening ceremony wad graced by the presence of PSSI Futsal Department Chairman Yerico Umbas and Technical Director Justinus Lhaksana.

In his speech, Umbas said the PSSI are glad to organise the first ever AFC Futsal Coaching Course in Indonesia and that the FA and National Futsal body look forward to more AFC futsal coaching and refereeing courses in the year 2013.

He also thanked AC Futsal Director Ali Targholizade for the support to PSSI in carrying out the educational course.

Twenty participants, including seven current national futsal coaches and 12 currently serving Indonesia Super League coaches, are attending the course.

Course Instructor Chiew Chun Yong mentioned during his opening speech that he was pleased to see all active futsal coaches attending the course and expected that more coaches would attend the next AFC Futsal.

Chiew also expressed his appreciation to the PSSI for the arrangement and preparation for the course. The participants undergo both theory and practical sessions which will be consolidated in exams during the final day.
