FRIDAY - OCTOBER 26, 2012A pair of three-goal performances from Claudio Goodridge and Fernando Mena led Panama to a 7-5 victory over host Thailand in the first of two futsal friendlies in Bangkok on Friday.
Miguel Lasso had the other goal for the Canaleros, who earned their second consecutive victory against an Asian opponent after topping Malaysia earlier this week.
Panama continues preparations for its first-ever appearance in a FIFA Futsal World Cup when it again faces Thailand on Sunday (October 28) before taking on the Czech Republic on October 31.

THURSDAY - OCTOBER 25, 2012On Thursday, Costa Rica concluded its visit to Spain with a 6-2 loss to first-division side Caja Segovia FS in Segovia. Edwin Jose Cubillo scored both goals for the Ticos in defeat.
WEDNESDAY - OCTOBER 24, 2012CONCACAF futsal champion Costa Rica was beaten 6-1 in a friendly against host Spain at Madrid's Pabellón Municipal de Arganda del Rey on Wednesday evening.
Lin scored twice, while Aicardo, Alvaro, Borja Blanco and Rafa Usin all added a goal apiece as the six-time European champion built up a 6:0 advantage before Diego Andres Zuñiga notched a consolation goal for the Ticos with three minutes remaining.
Legendary goalkeeper Luis Amado was also honored in this encounter after playing 179 futsal matches for Spain and helping it to two FIFA world titles.
Also, on Wednesday, Mexico ended its Spanish tour with a 5-4 loss to second division club Brihuega FS at Guadalajara's Polideportivo Municipal Virgen de la Peña.
Omar Cervantes, Jorge Quiroz, Carlos Alberto Ramirez Vazquez and Jorge Rodriguez all scored for the Tricolores as they suffered their first loss after posting two victories and two draws against local Spanish sides.
