Morocco: Futsal lions fall to Egypt 1-2

The Morocco national futsal team yesterday recorded a 2-1 home defeat against Egypt. The match that took place at the Ibn Yassine hall was in preparation for the World cup that runs from November 1-18 in Thailand.

The visitors opened the score earlier in the 2nd minute through Ramadan Gharib Mohamed. In the 10th, Al Moataz Bi Allah Sami netted a second for Egypt before Morocco’s Adil Habil reduced the score by one goal in the 18th.

The Moroccans play another friendly against Australia October 28 in Thailand. For the world cup, they have been drawn in group B alongside Spain, Panama and Iran. Egypt are in group E with Serbia, Kuwait and the Czech Republic.
