Tuan joins management board of World Futsal Cup

HA NOI – Former Viet Nam Football Federation (VFF) general secretary Tran Quoc Tuan has been appointed by FIFA to be a member of the management board for the final round of the World Futsal Cup.

Tuan is now a member of the FIFA Futsal Committee and vice chairman of the Asian Futsal Confederation's Futsal Committee.

The tournament will take place in Thailand on November 1-18 and feature 24 teams. Among them are five Asian squads comprising of Iran, Japan, Australia, Kuwait and Thailand.

The draw result will be held today at St. Regis Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. After the drawing ceremony, the hosts will play a friendly match against defending European champions Spain.

On the sidelines of the tournament, FIFA will hold training courses for coaches and festivals for Thai high school futsal clubs.
