Wednesday, 22 August 2012

Yangon: The Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) organized its first ever AFC Futsal Level I coaching course under the auspicious of AFC at the capital city of Yangon from 7 to 12 August.

The course, organized to elevate the futsal coaching abilities of the local coaches, was participated by 17 local coaches. AFC’s Japanese instructor Teppei Konishi conducted the course which included three sessions on Futsal Laws of the Game by local instructors.

Despite the game being popular, Myanmar are considered as one of the minnows futsal nations in Asean region. They participated in AFC Futsal Championship Asean qualifier early this year but ended up at the bottom of Group A also featuring Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
