Futsal competition calling for more entries

MIRI: The 2012 Countdown Futsal organised by City Sport from December 31 to January 2 has so far attracted 20 teams.

The organiser, Lee Joon Siong said, the competition is still open to teams here as the championship targetted 64 teams.

According to Lee, entry forms are available from Miri City Sport and further information can be obtained through 085-422333. He disclosed that the championship would have the men open and women open and the venue would be the Miri City Council football field.

The closing date for the championship is tomorrow and the entry fee is RM100 per team.
