Azerbaijani futsal team beats Ukraine

The qualifier round of the 2012 World Championship in futsal in Group 5. Azerbaijani national team beat Ukraine in the last third round 4-2 and reached the next stage. Felipe, Rajab Farajzade, Serzhao and Vitaliy Borisov excelled within our team.

In our match of our group, Croatia beat Macedonia-4-1.

Standings:

1. Ukraine – 6 points, gap in ball 8-6
2. Azerbaijan – 6, 12-6
3. Croatia – 6, 8-6
4. Macedonia – 0, 3-13

Ukraine and Azerbaijan are above Croatia thanks to the gap in balls in board meetings. Ukraine has +1, Azerbaijan-0, Croatia-1.

The national teams of Ukraine and Azerbaijan will play in the play-off matches to be held in March-April of this year. The winners of the two match confrontations will play in the final stage of the world championship in Thailand in November.

The opponents of the national team of Azerbaijan in the play-off matches can become the winners of the rest groups-Spain, Italy, Serbia, Portugal, Czech Republic and Russia.
