THE Perth Youth Futsal sessions continues tonight (Friday) with the revised start time of 6.30pm for the PYF Skillz School on Court 3 of the main arena at Bell’s Sports Centre, followed by the 7pm start for the PYF Academy, the 8pm start for the 14/15 league and the 9pm start for the 16/17 league. Players and teams are asked to be ready to start on time and note that apart from the PYF Skillz School sessions, the sessions will be held in the Coaching Hall as usual.
Teams are reminded to submit their completed Bonus Ball entry forms for the next draw, which will be held on Saturday, December 31.
Preparations have started for the formation of PYF U14, U16 and U18 Academy teams, with players receiving intensive coaching in order to prepare them for upcoming trips to England, Ireland, Belgium and Spain. Only players selected and attending the PYF Academy training sessions are eligible to participate in upcoming trips / tournaments.
The club will be running a PYF Level 1 training course from 6.30–8pm on Friday, December 16, for new coaches who are joining PYF, and due to demand from various quarters the club will hold a Futsal coaching course open to the general public on Friday, January 6. The three hour course will start at 7pm and will cost £25 per person. Places are limited, so early application is advised – contact the club for more information.

Perth Youth Futsal are hosting their annual Sportsman’s Dinner on Saturday, March 24, at the Lovat Hotel. Among the fundraising items for raffle / auction are signed FC Barcelona tops by Messi, Xavi and Inniesta, and a Celtic top signed by Scott Brown. Full details will be announced in due course.

PYF Saltires were in action on Monday night when they faced title contenders Cherrybank. Despite a hard-working performance the PYF team failed to overcome their more experienced opponents.
The club are looking for volunteer coaches for either / both Monday and Friday night sessions so that the club can continue making progress. Anyone interested in helping should get in touch asap.
