Dory Zakhour "All Other Teams Should Beware Lebanon"

He looks like he is everywhere. All Sports head coach Dory Zakhour is giving all his efforts to make sure that the Lebanese national team is ready to achieve success in the West Asia qualifiers which will start in Kuwait next week.

Well known coach Zakhour who led the national team for seven years, and gained an excellent reputation in Lebanon and abroad, was the first to launch the idea of bringing a foreign coach to take advantage of his expertise and work on developing the technical level of the players.

So, some people could see that the arrival of Spanish coach Paco Araujo forced Zakhour out of the national team, but “The Lions” coach gave Araujo the necessary support since his arrival to Lebanon, and he denied such gossips by saying: "Lebanon Team is more important than any personal benefits and each person can make a positive addition is more than welcome and we wish his presence with us”.

About his expectations for the next qualifiers Zakhour said: "Lebanon’s squad is full of talented players, but we lack the chemistry and the harmony between veterans and newcomers, but even though it would be so difficult for anyone to beat us”.

He continues: "we are not afraid of anyone, but everyone should beware us, especially after we beat them all in 2009”.

Zakhour, who finished in first place with the higher grade in the level 2 AFC course last summer, is satisfied with the reaction of the Lebanese federation when it comes to Futsal after the game convinced all and showed its importance.

Zakhour thanked all those who cooperated in order to facilitate the team matters during the preparations, especially Futsal Committee Chairman Simon Douaihy and the committee members, in addition to the technical and administrative staff, and physiotherapists Hassan Karaki and Ali Zein who were there when needed. He also thanked those in charge of Assad hall, club president Tamim Sleiman and Jihad Sakr.
