The Bellingen Shire Courier SunJacob Leslie off to Brazil25 Oct, 2011Sixteen-year-old local youth, Jacob Leslie has been selected in an Australian Futsal team to tour Brazil next August.
He is a member of the Urunga Raiders under 21 and senior teams and has been a part of the North Coast soccer academy.
“The Urunga Club has helped develop my individual skills and fitness,” Jacob said.
He recently represented NSW in the State Futsal titles in Queensland from where he was selected in the Australian side to tour Brazil.
“The tour will be a great learning experience and something I’ll remember for a long time,” Jacon said. “Any donations to help me with the cost of this tour would be greatly appreciated.”
Jacob Leslie is a Year 10 student at Bellingen High School where he is a leader of the Student Representative Council.
