Teachers compete in futsal tournament

KAPIT: Six teams took part in Kapit Closed Teacher’s Futsal Competitions at Maksak Clubhouse along Jalan Sri Baleh recently.

Majority of the players in the teams were teachers while some from the Medical Club.

The organising chairman of the competition, Ahmad Adham Berhaumidin said the objective was to encourage teachers to actively participate in sports to promote healthy lifestyle.

“Teachers are encouraged to be active in sports in order to stay healthy. Sports promote goodwill among one another and to develop co-operation and team work”, he stressed.
