Al Wasl rout Abu Dhabi Police to lift Futsal Super Cup

Jameel in fabulous form as he scores four goals in 9-0 drubbing

Dubai: Al Wasl thrashed Abu Dhabi Police 9-0 to lift the inaugural edition of the Futsal Super Cup at the Al Shabab Club's indoor hall earlier this week.

Watched by Shaikh Majid Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and Chairman of the club, there was no question of Al Wasl's superiority as they scored at will and add to their League crown they won earlier this season.

Al Wasl who led 4-0 at half-time, had Abdul Karim Jameel in fine form as he scored four goals while Khalid Ali, Abdul Raouf, Sabri Jameel, Habib Aziz and goalkeeper Khalid Abdul Aziz found the nets once each.

The Futsal Super Cup is organised and hosted by the Dubai Sports Council (DSC) as per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed recently between the Dubai and Sharjah Sports Councils with the aim of enhancing national-level development of sport.
