Vietnam to host Int'l Futsal Tournament

HANOI, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- Four teams will participate in an International Futsal Tournament to be held in Vietnamese capital Hanoi on October 7-9.

According to Vietnam News Agency on Wednesday, during the event, host Vietnam, is set to compete against Qatar, China and Uzbekistan.

The Vietnam Football Federation selected 20 players for a training session in Ho Chi Minh City.

The three-day event will give Vietnam a chance to hone their skills for the upcoming Southeast Asian Games in Indonesia this November while serving as a qualifier for the 2012 Asian Futsal Championship, said the report.
