Dutch National team coached by
Marcelo Loosveld will experience one more training stage with 17 players involved. The same happened one week before, again in Zeist, with 12 players only due to the fact that
Futsal Club Eindhoven was taking part in the UEFA Futsal Cup and could obviously not release their players. We have to remind that
Netherlands has been drawn in
group 6 of the UEFA Qualifiers for the
World Cup 2012 in Thailand: this means they will move to
Czech Republic, facing the host nation, as well as
Belarus and the winner of the
preliminary round group D winner (Finland, Turkey, Albania and hosts Estonia). Loosveld's task is quite clear: give back to Netherlands a place in the final stage of the World Cup after 12 years (Guatemala 2000 was the last "cap" for the orange selection). Last but not least, let's point out that the new dutch futsal season will kick-off in Rotterdam on next Saturday, September 3rd, through the
Super Cup game between league holders
Futsal Club Eindhoven and Cup Winners
