31/05/2003 - 01/06/2003 Hürth Trofee International Futsal Tournament Hürth - Germany (31 May - 1 June 2003) Cologne is the perfect location for a sport-filled weekend. Although actually a single weekend is too short to enjoy everything the city has to offer. The city with the famous Cathedral has a bustling centre with lively shopping streets, museums, restaurants, inviting sidewalk cafes on the banks of the Rhine and of course innumerable ‘Stubes’ in its centuries-old Altstadt. But Cologne is a city of sports as well: a city with clubs that enjoy organising such international tournaments as the Gold Cup for young people – the biggest springtime tournament in Germany -, the Hürth Cup (indoor football) and the Rheintal Trophy for senior and ladies’ teams. In short, a destination that really makes you build up a thirst that you can quench, for example, with a Kölsch. Cheers TOURNAMENT ORGANIZER(S) B.C. The city, situated on the river Rhine, offers an abundance of culture and liveliness during the day, as well as in the evening.
