Futsal Club CIP Deva, runners up of the 2003-04 Romanian First League organizes the 2-nd edition of the CUPA CETATII International Futsal Tournament.
The tournament will be held between the 20-th and 23-rd of July, 2004 in the Sports Hall in Deva. Deva is a city with 100.000 inhabitants located in western Romania, 200 km from the Hungarian border, on the Szeged-Arad-DEVA-Sibiu road. It is also known in the world of sports because of the Gymnastics Olympic Center and its ladies handball teams.
We expect 8 participating sides, which will be split into two groups playing in a round robin system. Then we will have place finals.
We would like to invite 2 top foreign sides from either Italy, Croatia, Spain, Ukraine or the Czech Republic, either clubs or national teams. Those two teams will automatically enjoy seeded status. Accomodation and meals will be provided for 16 persons per side, from July 19-th to the 24-th.
