Play For Charity
This is a charity tournament to benefit DC SCORES. DC SCORES is a
non-profit organization dedicated to helping students build their athletic and literacy skills and self-confidence. DC SCORES is an after-school program whose mission is to inspire and promote creativity, academic achievement, community involvement and athleticism among urban youth through soccer and creative academic workshop. It currently operates in twenty DC public schools and serves over 720 student-athletes. Adult leaders coach the students in soccer and give them guidance in writing workshops where they are encouraged to express their feelings. DC SCORES allows students to find their own voices, and find ways to improve their communities from within.

This is a unique opportunity for players, coaches, team managers and league administrators to experience Futsal first hand. This will allow you to see how the game enhances the soccer skills of all youth players. Coaches should use this event to evaluate their players overall soccer fundamentals.
This will allow a coach to see where each player needs to improve his/her game.
