Iran Officially Invited to Kuwait Int'l Futsal Tournament

Tehran (Fut5al.ir) - Iran national futsal team have been officially invited to Kuwait's international futsal tournament where eight teams will compete for the title.

According to Fut5al reports, Kuwait Football Federation officially invited Iran, as the Asian champions, to participate in the eight-team international futsal event in Kuwait which will be held late March and early April.

Brazil, Italy and Egypt are other major teams whose paricipations have been fixed in the tournament. It will be a good opportunity for Iran to play with some top level futsal teams in the event.

The event will be the first international tournament in Kuwait since FIFA lifted suspension of Kuwait Football Federation and Kuwaitis now want to hold the first event in style by inviting futsal powers from different continents.

Organizers are to give huge cash prizes for the winners of the tournament and it is expected Iran to be given some bonuses for Iranian New Year calendar which begins late March.
