BRAZILIAN STARS SHOWCASE NEW FUTSAL SHOE AND BALL

The More Game campaign is a celebration of what makes futsal such an exciting part of the football world. Known for its focus on skill, flair and pace, futsal is growing in popularity worldwide as more and more people play and watch the game. Whether competitive or casual, futsal players are encouraged to express themselves and to try new things. In a video released today, three top Brazilian futsal players showcase their skills and two new products created by Umbro – the Chaleira Pro futsal shoe and the Sala Pro futsal ball.

National team players Leandro Lino, Marcel Marques and Vinicius Rocha were captured up close and personal in Brazil putting the new shoe and ball through their paces. Futsal is seen as one of the fastest-growing sports worldwide, and this video aims to capture exactly what makes it so exciting to play and watch by putting the viewer right at the heart of the action.

Alongside the main film, Umbro will also be releasing individual interview videos with Lino, Marques and Rocha this week, where they discuss the new shoe and the role it plays in helping with their performance on the futsal court.

Brazil is the spiritual home of futsal and where many of the world’s top players are based, so it was the natural choice for Umbro when researching their new shoe. With extensive research and wear testing involving professional players, plus insights from Umbro’s partners in Brazil, the Chaleira Pro was created.

These insights were used to influence the design of the Chaleira Pro in a number of ways, creating a highly technical shoe built for the particular demands of futsal.

Alongside the Chaleira Pro, Umbro have also unveiled the Sala Pro futsal ball, an innovative, eco-friendly design that’s suitable for use at the highest level of the game.

Alongside Leandro Lino, Marcel Marques and Vinicius Rocha who star in the More Game video, Umbro have also recruited a host of top futsal talent from around the world.

Players such as Bateria of Brazil, Adolfito of Spain, Romulo of Russia, Doug Reed from England and Portuguese stars Bebe, Miguel Angelo and Tiago Brito will all be wearing the Chaleira Pro in tournaments and leagues worldwide.
