Dear futsal friends,

one more year is reaching its end! Along with it, curtains come down on twelve months of pure futsal, the best sport on earth!

So, what are we supposed to do now? Easy answer: we're going to celebrate who contributed, in different ways, to make the show simply... unforgettable!

We're therefore ready to open the 18th edition of our Annual Awards with a pleasant return! Once again, as happened during the period 2007-2011, we will be joined in our futsal party by a prestigious company and brand as UMBRO! Welcome back guys!

We have handpicked a selection of the world’s leading futsal experts from across the globe to decide who will win the UMBRO Futsal Awards 2017.

Each individual voter will vote for their 5 favourites in each category from the nominees which have been selected by the Futsalplanet team. They will vote in order of preference. So their first chosen nominee will receive 5 points, their second 4 points and so on with their fifth nominee receiving 1 point.
The winner in each category will be the nominee that receives the most points by the closing date, after which no votes will be counted.

Voting window: January 1st* - January 8th**, 2018

*starting immediately after the nominees for the best player of the world category have been released
** CET time is taken into account for the end of the final day



All categories winners of the UMBRO Futsal Awards 2017 will be announced on January 10th, 2018.
