With the inaugural UEFA Women's Futsal EURO 2019 getting closer, changing the history (and hopefully some "dark" minds as well) of the "girls version" of the game, many national FAs in the Old Continent are strengthening, resuming or setting up/creating their women national teams in order to get ready for the right time. A good demonstration (destinated to futsal "managers") of the following dogma: give the correct impulse and (somebody at least) people will follow you.

That's the case of Finland, which started during the past year with training camps and are now working hard for their international girls debut in Poland, against the local squad.

History will be therefore written on November 18th in Ostroda and the following day in Lubawa. In order to select the best team for such an event, head coach Jaakko Laitinen has staged one more training camp in Eerikkilä evaluating 4 keepers and 16 field players, to be then reduced respectively to 3 and 13 for the Polish trip. Also, friendly games in Netherlands are planned to take place in February. So, good luck to the Naisten futsalmaajoukkue!
