Jane Lynch4 Jul 2017MANNING Futsal’s first term of the Gol Brazil Academy can be deemed a great success with approximately 32 players completing term one.
The academy, held at Saxby’s Stadium, aims to offer aspiring players the opportunity to train like professionals.
Manning’s Academy co-ordinator David Castro praised the players who have been part of term one.
“It is a fully accredited program,” David said.
“GOL Brasil Australia is the official Australian affiliate of the parent organisation GOL Brasil which is based in Brazil and co-ordinated by CBF A License coaches, so the skills and activities these players are learning are great for future development of the game.”
Plans are underway for a second term, but based on the success of the first Manning Futsal are also holding a school holiday coaching clinic on July 12/13. This will feature coaching from two of the of the best, Vince Sciacca the national technical director and Carlos Moore, national head coach. Both are selectors for national teams.
