MANNING Futsal’s first term of the Gol Brazil Academy can be deemed a great success with approximately 32 players completing term one.

The academy, held at Saxby’s Stadium, aims to offer aspiring players the opportunity to train like professionals.

Manning’s Academy co-ordinator David Castro praised the players who have been part of term one.

“It is a fully accredited program,” David said.

“GOL Brasil Australia is the official Australian affiliate of the parent organisation GOL Brasil which is based in Brazil and co-ordinated by CBF A License coaches, so the skills and activities these players are learning are great for future development of the game.”

Plans are underway for a second term, but based on the success of the first Manning Futsal are also holding a school holiday coaching clinic on July 12/13. This will feature coaching from two of the of the best, Vince Sciacca the national technical director and Carlos Moore, national head coach. Both are selectors for national teams.

More information on the school holiday program and Gol Brazil can be found by contacting Manning Futsal via their Facebook page or David Castro on 0437 818 748.
