Futsal referee course

At Newfield H.S. in Selden Feb. 4-5

The next futsal referee certification course will be held at Newfield High School in Selden, N.Y. Feb. 4-5.

The school is located on 145 Marshall Drive in Selden.

The Saturday, Feb. 4, the course goes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, Feb. 5 session from 9 a.m. to noon. Following the course, there will be a meeting from noon to 2 p.m. to help officials become assigned to ref local futsal games.

The cost is $90 made via Paypal. Refs already certified for outdoor soccer need not purchase new uniforms as the same kits are used for futsal.

Candidates must complete the U.S. Soccer Grade 8 Futsal Referee Modules and the U.S. Soccer registration form. For the modules, registration form and to register, log on to:
