First-half goals from James Briars and Miguel De Vicente were later added to by Fabinho Almeida, Joe Iggulden and Jamie Bettson as the unbeaten hosts romped to a 5-0 victory against Manchester Futsal Academy on Sunday afternoon.
An eighth successive win therefore moves Junior Roberti's prized charges eight points clear of the rest and with still a game in hand on second-placed Derby, who were themselves victorious by a 12-9 scoreline against top-four rivals Durham at the Gateshead Leisure Centre.

Javier Rodriguez Corral (2), Connor Towes (2), John-Lloyd Watson (2), Scott Gunn, Samuel Hutsby and James McKenna replied for their opponents, who fought back during the second-half after trailing by six goals at the break.
In the other weekend game, Liverpool overcame bottom side Nottingham Trent 7-4 in Birkenhead, with four-goal Ashley Jones taking the individual scoring honours and Kaita Hasegawa (2) and Thomas Bateman similarly on the mark. Trent's responses came from Tom Edgeley (2), Callum Jordan and Andrew Paczy-Smith.
