Actub said that main sponsor PIA of Deputy Speaker in the Philippine Congress Pia Cayetano wants more participants next year.

“With more support from the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Futsal Committee chairman Percy Guarin, this tournament will only grow bigger,” Actub added.

Guarin is also the president of the Moca-Gesco Regional FA. He promised to the participants during the opening last Saturday that the PFF is required to help girls Futsal and starting in January next year it will be included in the Moca-Gesco RFA annual program.

A total of 16 teams from all over Cagayan de Oro City joined the tournament which was also sponsored by SunStar CdO Inc.
The tournament was supposed to be for Public Schools only but since very few public schools signed up, the organizers invited some private schools.
