York City Futsal v Nottingham Trent Futsal

York City Futsal play their first home game of the season when hosting bottom of the table Nottingham Trent at the University of York Sports Centre on Sunday afternoon, kick-off 2.30pm.

However, that hasn't stopped the Minstermen from surging to the top of National League North Division Two after five straight victories on their travels.

The latest of those was a 4-2 triumph at second-placed Durham - a result that witnessed Junior Roberti's side leapfrogging both their hosts and leaders Tranmere Rovers while reclaiming top spot.

Nottingham Trent may have lost all six of their games so far but have still proved competitive, and were recently within only a couple of goals of high-riding Tranmere while suffering a 5-7 home defeat.

They've also experienced successive 5-9 losses at both Derby and Durham, having actually led the latter at the break; plus a 4-7 reversal at Loughborough Academy, in addition to home defeats to Manchester Academy (2-6) and Liverpool (4-8).

York still have scheduled home fixtures against Loughborough (4th Dec) and Manchester (11th Dec) in the run-up to Christmas.

Meanwhile, the two other games this weekend have Derby welcoming Tranmere and Loughborough entertaining Liverpool.
