Kathmandu PostDhuku rout Adarsha 8-2, climb to 2nd in standingsNov 23, 2016- Dhuku Futsal Hub climbed to the second position in Group ‘A’ of the Red Bull National Futsal League on Tuesday.
On their way to registering a back-to-back victory, Dhuku hammered Adarsha Futsal 8-2 to go second in the standings with 18 points from nine matches. They trail Kickoff Futsal by three points but the leaders have one match in hand. Third-placed Adarsha Futsal (16 points) also have a game in hand.
Suraj Raut and man-of-the-match Muskan Lama scored a brace each for Dhuku for whom Sumit Aale, Sabin KC, Sabin Khadka and Prajesh Adhikari also scored one goal apiece. Raju Budhathoki and Abiral Rijal replied for the losing side.
In a Group ‘B’ game, Harisiddhi Futsal also had a huge-margin victory, beating Busy Brother 7-3. Man-of-the-match Ripu Bhulan alone scored four goals for Harisiddhi, while Rajesh Limbu struck twice. Niraj Maharjan also scored once.
For Busy Brothers, Umesh Khadka, Saroj Lamichhane and Prakash Thapa replied. Harisiddhi are fifth in the table with 14 points from nine games. Busy Brothers—also on 14 points—are seventh on goal difference. Sankhamul Futsal lead Group ‘B’ with 19 points from eight games, one ahead of Kumari Futsal. Kumari also have one match in hand. The eventual champions will receive Rs 1 million in the 16-team tournament. The best player and the best goalkeeper of the tournament will also earn Rs 50,000 each.
