RTB the team to beat at the Info Dept futsal meet

RADIO Televisyen Brunei (RTB) will be the team to beat in the upcoming Futsal Championship in conjunction with Information Department’s 64th year of establishment which will commence at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Futsal Hall this Sunday.

The state broadcaster team reigned supreme in the 2015 edition and remain a force in the annual tournament which pits both government and private media organisations.

The defending champions have been drawn alongside hosts Information Department ‘A’, State Judiciary Department and the Department of Electrical Services in Group ‘A’.

2014 winners Media Permata, who aim to recapture the title, will be meeting Management Services Department, Media JPM and the Government Photography team.

Group C feature Information Department ‘B’, E-Government National Centre and the State Mufti Department while English daily Borneo Bulletin take on Audit Department, Anti-Corruption Bureau and JAIN in Group D for a place in the knock-out stages.

The semi-finals and final of the tournament will be held on November 25.
