14 futsal teams vying for honours in grand final

Kota Kinabalu: Eight men teams and six women teams will be vying for the top honours in the grand final of the Sabah FA Futsal League which will be held at the Juara Sports Planet in Ketiau, Putatan from November 17-20.

The men teams who made it to the finals are division one champions BB FC, runners-up Sri Intan FC, Sri Aman FT, Azzuri FC, Massa FT and Junior 28 Mizanis while the other two are E66 and DNMS FT from division two.

The six women teams are Rascalz who took the division one title, runners-up UMS FT, Ziemal and Remixx FT as well as Cingkaling and Vista FT who finished first and second in division two.

The inaugural league which started earlier this year was participated by all clubs throughout Sabah and it also served as platform to select players for the State team to compete in the National Futsal League as well as to give exposure to some 40 individuals who possessed the AFC level one and two coaching certificates.
