Persela FC vs Petra Giant FC in Kuching Futsal League final

KUCHING: Persela FC and Duta Holding Petra Giant FC will vie for the Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman Challenge Trophy in the final of the Liga Futsal Kuching-LSC at 8pm at Sports Planet in Demak Laut tomorrow (Nov 13).

Both teams made it to the final in the competition that commenced since April. The champion will also receive RM1,000.

“Lea Sports Centre Sdn Bhd is sponsoring this tournament in terms of apparel for the organising committee, trophies, medals and gift vouchers,” LSC said in a press statement yesterday.

LSC handed over the sponsorship to representatives from Kuching Division FA (KDFA) and Sports Planet in a simple ceremony at LSC outlet inSarawak Plaza yesterday.

“We are very supportive of local football and futsal tournaments and look forward to have more tourneys organised by affiliates of the Football Association of Sarawak.

“Through this way, they can scout for players with the skills and passion to be groomed for the Reserve or President’s Cup teams,” added LSC.

LSC was represented by general manager Poh Hoon Siok, operations manager Olga Reggie, senior merchandising manager Alice Kho and retail manager Nick Chew, KDFA by secretary Kamaludin Akil while Sports Planet was represented by CEO Saiful Bahri Ahmad Adibi and general manager Mohd Khairul Rahim.
