Gulf Digital NewsReferees pass AFC futsal fitness testsFri, 04 Nov 2016BAHRAINI Futsal referees Osama Edris and Hussain Al Bahar passed their fitness tests of the Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) International Futsal referee workshop which took place in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.
The fitness tests come in a time where both referees prepare to be registered as official AFC Futsal Referees for the year 2017.
The referees took part in the workshop, which started on Sunday and concluded yesterday.
The workshop included many of the theoretical and practical aspects of futsal.
On a side note, Bahraini International Futsal referee, Abdulrahman Abdulqader took off to Malaysia yesterday to take part in the AFC lecturer’s workshop.
The workshop will start today and will run until Wednesday.
Head of the referees committee in the Bahrain Football Association (BFA) Jassim Mahmood confirmed that the participation of Abdulqader comes in coordination with BFA President, Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa’s to strengthen every aspect under the BFA.
He pointed out that the participation of referee in the workshop comes in the belief of the importance of continuous and comprehensive development of the referees.
