Man-of-the-match Rajin Pandey struck a hat-trick, while Prabesh Joshi scored twice and Arush Singh and Bijay Shrestha added one goal each for the home team. The victory meant Kickoff lead the pool with 12 points.
In the Group ‘B’, Tahachal battled to a 4-3 win over Samakhushi Futsal 4-3. Bishal Gurung, Sunil Basnet, Binay Maharjan and Sujit Budathoki scored for Tahachal. Sujan Maharjan and Subhash Baniya scored a goal each for Samakhusi, while they got the third goal courtesy an own. Bishal of Tahachal was adjudged the man-of-the-match. Tahachal lead the pool with nine points from four games.
The highest cash-prized futsal tournament of the country will give away Rs 1 million to the champions. The runners-up will walk away with Rs 500,000 in the event participated in by 16 teams. The best player and the best goalkeeper of the tournament will receive Rs 50,000 each.

In the match held at its home turf, Kick Off defeated Chaur 7-1 with goals from Rajin Pandey, Prabesh Joshi, Arush Singh and Bijay Shrestha. Rajin scored hat-trick for the winning side while Prabesh netted brace. Arush and Bijay scored one goal each for Kick off. Rochak Gurung scored a consolation for Chaur. Rajin of the winning side Kick off was declared the-man-of-the-match. After a win over Chaur, Kick off has collected 12 points in the league to stay at top of the group A.
Similarly in another match, Tahachal registered 4-3 victory over Samakhusi Futsal at its home turf.
Bishal Gurung, Sunil Basnet, Binay Maharjan and Sujit Budhathoki netted one goal each for the Tahachal while Sujan Maharjan and Subhash Baniya scored one goal apiece for the Samakhusi. The visitor were also gifted an own goal from Tahachal. Bishal Gurung of winning team Tahachal was declared the-man-of-the-match. Tahachal now is at top of the group B in the league with nine points.

Kathmandu PostBG Brothers triumphOct 24, 2016BG Brothers recorded their first win in the Red Bull National Futsal League with a 7-1 hammering of Kirtipur Futsal on Sunday.
Played at the own home court, Akash Lama and Rajendra Deula both scored hat-tricks to help open their team’s account in the league. Prakash Tamang scored another goal for the hosts. Apex Maharjan pulled a consolation goal for the visitors. Lama was named man-of-the-match.
Hosts Baneshwor Recreation Centre were held to a 5-5 draw by visiting Adarsha Futsal. Man-of-the-match Kurfew Rasaili struck a hat-trick and Manish Rana scored another goal for Baneshwor, who also got another goal courtesy an own goal. Samir Karki and Raju Budathoki scored braces and Utsav Rana added another goal for Adarsha.
Kickoff Futsal lead the Group ‘A’ standings with nine points, while Sankhamul Futsal are atop the Group ‘B’ standings with six points. Kumari and Tahachal also have six points each in the group.
In all, 16 teams are taking part in the tournament organised by the AMA Events. The champions will earn Rs 1 million and runners-up will walk away with Rs 500,000. The best player and the best goalkeeper of the tournament will receive Rs 50,000 each.

Aakash Lama and Rajendra Deula competed hat-trick each, while Prakash Tamang added one goal to help his team win the first match in the league round. Apex Maharjan scored the consolation goal for Kirtipur. In other matches, Baneshwor Recreational Centre played a 5-5 draw against Adarsha Futsal.
Curfew Rasaili hit a hat-trick, while Manish Rana added one and Baneshwor got a goal through an own goal from Adarsha’s side. Samir Karki and Raju Budhathoki scored two goals each and Utsav Rana netted one for Adarsha.

My RepublicaFirst win for BG BrothersOctober 23, 2016KATHMANDU, Oct 23: BG Brothers has registered its first victory in the ongoing Red Bull National Futsal League while Baneshwar Recreation Centre and Adarsha Futsal settled for a draw on Sunday.
In the match played at its home turf, BG Brothers defeated Kirtipur Futsal 7-1 with the help of goals from Akash Lama, Rajendra Deula and Prakash Tamang. Akash and Rajendra both scored hat-trick for the winning team while Praksah added another goal. Apex Maharjan netted consolation goal for Kirtipur. Akash Lama of BG Brothers was declared man of the match.
Similarly in another match held at Baneshwar Recreation, home team and Adarsha Futsal played 5-5 draw. Curfew Rasaili produced hat-trick for Baneshwar while Manish Rana scored one goal. Winning side got another goal as gift from Adarsha Futsal. Likewise, Samir Karki, Raju Budhathoki netted two goals each for away team Adarsha while Utsav Rana scored another goal. Curfew of Baneshwar was declared man of the match.
