Highway, Rajani victorious

KATHMANDU, Sept 30: Highway Futsal and Rajani Futsal recorded victories in the Red Bull National Futsal League on Friday.

In the match held at Samakhusi futsal, Highway defeated home team Samakhusi 7-6. Bikash Lama scored hat-trick for the winning side while Amit Tamang and Basanta Gurung scored two goals each.

Samakhusi’s Nabin Lama and Santosh Tamang were other two players who scored hat-trick but goals from them couldn’t save their team from loss. Nabin Lama of Samakhusi was declared as man-of-the-match.

In another match, Rajani futsal overcame Chaur Recreation 5-1. Sushan KC produced hat-trick for the Rajani in the match held at Chaur Recreation while Bibhor Gurung and Abin Thapa scored one/one goal. Ramesh Gurung scored consolation for the home team. Rushan KC of the Rajani Futsal was handed man-of-the-match.
