Samba Futsal & Football School organise Muscat 7 Football Tournament

Muscat - For the first time, Samba Futsal and Football School with the sponsorship of Pocari Sweat and the medical support of Starcare Hospital, organised the Muscat 7 Football Tournament. The event was held at Al Amal Sports Complex in Ghala.

The first edition of Muscat 7 was exclusively for the Indian community in Muscat.

From the first to the final match, teams were striving for every single ball, and as most expected in a competition, it could be seen that players performed with a lot of energy and managers were very tensed.

Thirteen teams representing different regions from India showed how much passion for the most popular sport in the world is present in the Indian community in Muscat.

The special guest of honour Abdullah al Ghafri, CEO of Axis Of The Desert, presented the award ceremony.

Black & White Kerala, FC Kerala, Starcare and Hitachi Power Tools were the teams that reached the semifinals. In both matches, the winner was decided by the penalty shoot-out.

In the 3rd place match, Starcare won by one-nil against FC Kerala with a goal by Abdul Basit No 5 of Starcare.

Hitachi Power Tools ended the competition as the champion by a one-nil win against Black & White Kerala with a goal by Nihal Rahman No 11 of Hitachi Power Tools. The players of the tournament was Nihal Rahman from Hitachi Power Tools.
