We know soccer is Costa Rica’s main sporting event, but there are many other disciplines in which Costa Rica has international participation. Here are a few important events coming up:

The Costa Rican FutSal National Team will take part of the FIFA FutSal World Championship Colombia 2016. Costa Rica is part of Group E along with Salomon Islands, Kazakhstan and Argentina; the Ticos will have their debut game on Monday, September 12 at 5 p.m. local time when they face Salomon Island. The second match is scheduled for September 15 also at 5 p.m. against Kazakhstan, and the first phase will be completed on Sunday, September 18 when they measure up with Argentina. All games will be streamed live online by channel 7 (Teletica).
