Under the leadership of Brazilian manager Junior Roberti and club skipper Daniel Pedras, their squad reveals a number of new arrivals, including Joao Costa and Fabinho Almeida (Portugal), in addition to goalkeeper Mattia Novello (Italy).
Meanwhile, former captain Mahiko Konishi (Italian/Japanese) remains for another season and is joined by one-time England international Demir Kurtovic.
Recent trialists Jack Overton and Lewis Elliott were also amongst the group for the four-club pre-season tournament in Gateshead.
City started with a 3-1 defeat to Middlesbrough, but then recovered to beat Durham by the same scoreline in their next game before overcoming Australian Futsal 4-1 in their final fixture.
York begin the league campaign with a visit to Nottingham Futsal Club next Saturday evening, with a 7.20pm kick-off at Rolls Royce Leisure.
Their first home game is against Liverpool at the University of York Sports Centre on 30th October (kick-off 2.00pm), while also competing against the likes of Derby, Manchester, Durham, Loughborough and Tranmere Rovers over the coming months.
