One Week To Go Before Futsal Kick-Off

New Tranmere Rovers Futsal team start their first-ever season next weekend
The brand new Tranmere Rovers Futsal team get their first season underway in the FA National Futsal League Division 2 North on Sunday 11 September.

Damon Shaw's team start the campaign with a home match against FS Derby at the Futsal Hub at Prenton Park with a 3pm kick-off.

The squad, selected from open trials at the beginning of July, have been working hard ahead of their opening season.

Lots of fitness work has been completed by the players along with some training games as they prepare for the first game.

Manager Damon Shaw said: "I have been really impressed by the commitment of the players, I've not seen this level of commitment before.

"I think the fans will appreciate the effort that the players have put in and will be showing in the first match against Derby.

"We'd love to get the fans down to come and watch Futsal. We're representing the Club around the country and we want to bring success to the Club.

"It's free entry to the first match so it would be great to see them show their support to the team in our first match."
