Naga Asmara FT, Chiko Mamazilla tops in futsal

KAPIT: Naga Asmara FT beat a field of 20 teams to win the men’s category in the Kapit-level ‘Minister of Youth, Sports and Solidarity Futsal Competition to lift the trophy and RM1,000 prize.

Buragas came second for RM700 with third placed 7DSC receiving RM500.

In women’s futsal between three teams, winner Chiko Mamazilla pocketed RM700, followed by Mystique (RM500) and Kleldens FC (RM300).

On hand to officiate at the closing ceremony were administrative officer of Bukit Mabong District Office, Calvin Ligong. organiser Rata Tanggal, Kapit sports officer of Bukit Goram DO Grace Anyie Jock, Kapit Health medical assistant Mohd Khairi Hilman, Kapit assistant sports officer Martin Sherman Minggu and Kapit FA chairman Kennedy Kuyang.

The competitions organised by the Department of Youth, Sports and Solidarity held at the Bletih Stadium recently attracted 23 teams from government departments and the private sector.
