Police vs students for futsal fun

by Joanne Bailey

Sep 2, 2016

Today Toowoomba Police fought hard during a couple of games of futsal against the students at the Toowoomba State High School, Mt Lofty campus.

The game was held as part of Child Protection Week activities, promoting positive relationships between police and the students.

Police were a bit down in numbers, however held their own against strong opposition. Unfortunately the students had youth on their side and took out most of the wins, although the police did manage a few draws.

The game was organised by Senior Constable Cath Grutt, the school based police officer for Toowoomba High.
