Safra in last four

ABU Saiba and Safra yesterday qualified to the semi-finals of the fourth Khalid bin Hamad Youth Centres Futsal League at Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation Hall in Isa Sports City.

Abu Saiba defeated Karranah 3-1 with Hassan Maki scoring twice and Sayed Fadhel once for the winners while Saleh Madi netted Karranah’s only goal.

The men-of-the-match were Jaffar Al Banna of Abu Saiba and Karranah’s Ibrahim Khalil

In the second quarter-final, Safra defeated Salamabad in a penalty shootout 2-1 after regulation and extra-time ended goalless.

Safra’s Mohamed Abdulla was the man of the match.

Bahrain Sports Channel will be covering live all the action today from a dedicated studio at Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation in Isa Sports City.

The evening programme will be hosted by Humood Al Jeeb and will include various guests, from Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, sponsors, youth centre members, members of league for special needs athletes and members of Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation.

“The programmes will highlight many aspects of the league. It will be presented by Isa Sharida and prepared by Fawaz Abdullah. The programmes will include two new female faces in Shaikha Al Sharqi and Bushra Al Dhaen,” Al Jeeb said.
