Abu Saiba, Safra book Futsal League spots

Manama, Sept. 1(BNA): Abu Saiba Youth Center team and Safra Youth Center team qualified to the semi-finals of the fourth Khalid bin Hamad Youth Centers Futsal League and the first People with Disabilities League, organized by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. The matches were held in the Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation at Isa Sports City. The first match began with Abu Saiba defeating Karranah with a score of 3-1.

The goals for Abu Saiba team were scored by: Sayed Hassan Maki (2 goals), Sayed Fadhel and the goal for Karranah team were scored by Saleh Mahdi. Player Jaffar Al-Banna from Abu Saiba and Ebrahim Khalil from Karanah, both received the best player of the match award.

The second match ended with Safra qualifying after defeating Salamabad in the penalty shootouts. The two teams could not manage to score any goals during the match and reached the penalty shootouts where Safra won with a score of (2-1). Player Mohamed Abdullah from Safra received the best player of the match award. The first semi-final match begins on Saturday at 5PM, with Abu Saiba facing Safra and the second match at 6PM with the winners of yesterday’s matches.
