Deaf team face Harakia in final

HARAKIA Society and the Deaf team qualified for the final of the First Khalid bin Hamad League for People with Special Needs which is part of the fourth Khalid bin Hamad Youth Centers Futsal League, being played at the Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation hall in Isa Sports City.

In the first semi-final, Harakia Society downed the Special Education team 5-0.

Harakia’s Nabil Al Dossery scored a hat-tric, while teammates Mohammed Al Buanain and Elyas Abdulla netted one each.

The second semi-final match saw the Deaf team defeating the Deaf Society 7-0.

Akbar Salman scored a hat-trick with teammates Yousif Al Alawi scoring twice and Farooq Ibrahim scoring once.

Harakia Society and the Deaf team will meet in the final on Monday at the same venue.

The third-place match will take place on Saturday with the Special Education facing the Deaf Society.

The quarter-final of Fourth Khalid bin Hamad Youth Centers Futsal League will conclude today.

The first match of the day will see South Sehla go up against title-holder’s Al Zallaq, while Karbabad will face Shakhoora for a chance to play in the semi-final.

South Sehla had earlier qualified for the quarter-final after overcoming Hamad Town.

Al Zallaq recorded a victory over Hoora-Gudaibiya easily, while Shakhoora had successfully reached this stage after beating Damistan.

Karbabad had reached the quarter-final after the decision of the Executive Committee which disqualified their opponents, Central, for having a player registered in Bahrain Football Associations records.
