Futsal league quarter finals, two anticipated matches

Manama, Aug. 31 (BNA): Harakia Society team and the Deaf team qualified to the finals of the first Khalid bin Hamad People with Disabilities League which is part of the fourth Khalid bin Hamad Youth Centers Futsal League, organized by the Ministry of Youth & Sports Affairs.

The two teams qualified after they defeating the Special Education team and the Deaf Society team in the quarter finals. The first match of quarter finals ended with Harakia Society team defeating the Special Education team with a score of 5-0. The match was held at the Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation in Isa Sports City.

The Harakia Society team goals were scored by: Nabil Al Dossari (3 goals), Mohamed Al Buainain and Elyas Abdullah. The second match ended with the Deaf team defeating the Deaf Society team with a score of 7-0. The goals were scored by: Akbar Salman (hat-trick), Yousif Al Alawi (2 goals) and a Farooq Ibrahim.

The final match will see Harakia Society team facing the Deaf team on Monday, September 5, at the Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation in Isa Sports City. The match to determine positions 3 and 4 will kick off on Saturday, September 3, with the Special Education facing the Deaf Society team.
