South Sehla scored a dramatic a 4-3 win against Hamad Town, thanks to Amer Moosa’s last minute goal.
It was Moosa’s second goal for the South Sehla along with Sayed Alawi Moosa and Mohammed Abdulali who also got on the scoring sheets.
Ali Al Sindi scored twice for Hamad Town and Ali Abdulla Bakhit added their third of the game.
Al Safra’s goal keeper Hamad Dasas managed to save the team from Jurdab during the penalties after the match ended with a score of 3-3.
Safra managed to win at the penalties with a score of 4-3 goals.
The third match saw title holders Al Zallaq defeat Hoora-Gudaibiya 5-2.
Rashid Bakhit, Attiya Mohamed, Ahmed Mohamed, Faris Al Hosni and Mohamed Al Nasar scored for Zallaq, while Hoora-Gudaibiya’s goals were scored by Maher Isa and Isam Anwar.
The fourth match was the most exciting with Salmabad defeating Naim 3-2.
Ali Ahmed, Mahmoud Riyadh, and Kadhim Hassan all scored for Salmabad, while Ali Abdulhassan scored both of Naim’s goals.
With these results, the quarter-final lineups are finalised according to the schedule.
Karranah will face Abu Saiba today at 5pm, while Salmabad will take on South Sehla at 6pm.
Tomorrow, South Sehla will go up against Al Zallaq at 5pm, while Al Shakhoora will face Karbabad in the last quarterfinal match at 6pm.
The matches will be played at the Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation hall in Isa Town.
