Bahrain News AgencyPeople with Disabilities League to be launched23/08/2016Manama, Aug. 23 (BNA): Hamad Town Youth Center team, Jurdab Youth Center team, Safra Youth Center team and South Sehla Youth Center team of Group 5 and 6, qualified to the quarter finals of the fourth Khalid bin Hamad Youth Centers Futsal League and the First for People with Disabilities, held at Riffa Club, in the hall of Shaikh Faisal bin Hamad Al Kahlifa, May God rest His Soul.
Hamad Town team achieved a full mark by defeating Muharraq Youth Center team with a score of 8-0 in the Group 5 match, the goals were scored by: Abdulrahman Adel (2 goals), Ghanem Jamil Alhamad (2 goals), Ebrahim Mohamed (2 goals), Khalid Yasir and Mohamed Ali Juma. This result raises Hamad Town’s points tally to 9 points, while Muahrraq team bid good bye to the league with 3 points.
Jurdab team took second position in Group 5, after defeating East Riffa Youth Center team with a score of 6-1, the goals for Jurdab were scored by: Mhamoud Madan, Saed Fardan (2 goals), Kameel Abdulnabi (2 goals), Aqeel Abdul Hussain and the goal for East Riffa was scored by Ahmed Al Jalahama. Jurdab points tally goes up to 6 with this result and East Riffa bows out of the League.
As for the Group 6 matches, Safra team defeated South Sehla team with score of 7-3. The goals for Safra team were scored by: Nawaz Abdulsatar (3 goals), Ahmed Saleh (2 goals), Abdullah Saleh, Abdullah Mohammed and for the South Sehla goals, they were scored by: Alawi Sayed Moosa (3 goals).
Despite the loss, South Sehla team qualifies to the second stage because Naim-Sulta Youth Center team defeated Jidhafs Youth Center team with a score of 5-4 goals. The goals for Naim-Sulta team were scored by: Ahmed Al Nauimi (3 goals), Bader Al Mula, Mohamed Al Nauimi and the goals for Jidhafs team were scored by: Sayed Hassan Al Qassab (2 goals), Sadiq Al Ashoori and Mohamed AL Hadad.
The arrangement of Group 6 is now as follows: Al Safra leads with 9 points, South Sehla comes in second with 4 points, Naim-Sulta third with 3 points and finally Jidhafs Youth Center with one point.
With this arrangement, two matches of the second stage are set with the one match to get the leader of Group 5, Hamad Town will face the second lead of Group 6 , South Sehla and second match to have the leader for Group 6 to face the second lead of Group 5, Jurdab.

Mr. Abdulhakeem Al-Khayyat, Managing Director and CEO of KFH, expressed his joy and the joy of the KFH board members for sponsoring this youth competition, which is one of the initiatives that marches in line with the vision of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Mr. Al-Khayyat praised the initiative by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to integrate people with disabilities by issuing a directive to launch this league for them as part of the Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League.

The Managing Director and CEO of KFH, stressed that the bank’s board of directors is always keen on being involved and support different activities that help Bahrain’s youth. Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad's efforts in supporting youth praisedMr. Yousif Mohammed Ismail, the Bahrain T.V Manager, praised the sincere efforts made by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth & Sport, and President of Bahrain Athletics Association, to support Bahraini youth and various sporting events in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This came during Mr. Ismail's visit to witness some of Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League's matches in the presence of Mr. Omar Bu Kamal, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Media Office and Mr. Hamad Al Jaber, the League Manager, Mr. Hazim Al Shaikh and the President of the Organising Committee. Holding this event stems from HH Shaikh Khalid's initiative that translates the wise leadership's vision of including people with disabilities and integrating them into society. Mr. Ismail affirmed Bahrain TV's keenness in covering the event, stressing that all the necessary equipment was provided to ensure a great coverage of the event. He also thanked the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, headed by Mr. Hesham bin Mohammed Al Jodar for implementing the development plans in the youth and sport sectors in line with the ambitions of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to make the League a success.
Player transported to BDF hospitalJala Alawi from Jurdab Youth Center team received a serious injury to his right ankle in the last minutes of the match against East Riffa.
The player had to be taken to Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) hospital for an x-ray check-up. The physiotherapist from National Sports Medicine Centre and the ambulance helped to treat him, and what’s great is that the players from both team gave him attention without thinking of the competition.
Dasas from Safra: Our hopes is to compete for the title
Hamad Dasas, the goal keeper from Safra Youth Center team, stressed that the hopes of his team in the fourth Khalid bin Hamad Youth Centers Futsal League and the First for People with Disabilities, is to compete for the league’s title.
After defeating South Sehla Youth Center team, he pointed out that Safra team delivered a high level performance in the previous edition, where they won the third position last year. He explained that the players are determined in this version to deliver a higher level performance to get the title.
League for People with Disabilities launches todayUnder the directives of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and President of Bahrain Athletics Association, the League for People with Disabilities officially launches today, at Riffa Club in the hall of Shaikh Faisal bin Hamad Al Kahlifa, May God rest His Soul.
The league has two groups, with Group 1 preliminary matches starting today and Group 2 matches on Thursday. After the preliminaries, the winner of each match will face-off in a four-way semi-finals.
Group 1 teams includes: Harakia Society team, The Friendship Society For the Blind team and the Bahrain Deaf Society team.
Group 2 teams include: the Deaf team, the Special Education team and the Hearing Impaired team.
Today schedule includes, The first match 5PM with Harakia Society team facing The Friendship Society For the Blind team, the second match at 6PM has The Friendship Society For the Blind team and the Bahrain Deaf Society team and the final match at 7PM Has Harakia Society team facing the Bahrain Deaf Society team.
