The England national futsal team player joins Croatian fan-owned club Futsal Dinamo

Zagreb, 25th August, 2016 - Doug Reed, who represents the England national futsal team is a new player for the Croatian fan-owned futsal club Futsal Dinamo Zagreb. Reed came to the capital of Croatia from London Baku United, one of England’s best futsal teams in recent years.

Reed is a player with a strong international career. He played for clubs in Spain, Cyprus, Serbia and Croatia. During the season 2011/12, Reed was a member of another futsal club from Zagreb - Uspinjaca.

“During my time in Uspinjaca I developed a friendship with lots of Futsal Dinamo’s current players. I am glad to be back in Zagreb which is a very friendly and modern city. Futsal Dinamo is a special club because it is run by its supporters who make a spectacular atmosphere at every home match”, said Reed.

Futsal Dinamo is a fan-owned club which is run by its members, composed of futsal enthusiasts and supporters of Football Club Dinamo Zagreb, who attend the club’s matches in big numbers.

Futsal Dinamo, as a genuinely fan-owned club, makes significant progress each season. This year they have already signed two Croatian national futsal internationals, Vedran Matoševic and Kristijan Grbeša, and with Doug Reed they have become the favourites to take the Croatian domestic title.
