African ReporterWhite City wins against NkathazoAugust 17, 2016KwaThema – The KwaThema Futsal League match took place at the KwaThema Sports Complex last Saturday as White City took on Nkathazo.
White City managed a 3-2 win against Nkathazo in what proved to be a fast-paced match where both sides showed their eagerness to come out on top.
It was a thrilling 30-minute match where players showed off their soccer skills as they tried to register goals for their sides.
Not long after the referee blew the whistle to start the game, Ayanda Mabuza of White City scored the very first goal, setting the tone for the match.
Moments later Nkathazo’s Buntu Gwanya managed to equalise, leading both sides to push a little harder.
Moments before the first half came to end Tshidiso Nkaota sneaked in a goal, putting White City in the lead.
Going into the second half it was evident that the game plan had changed for both sides. Nkathazo’s Bongani Sibanyoni scored a goal to equalise.
But White City did not let that equalising goal kill their spirit. Instead it pushed them to score one last goal to hand them the victory.
White City’s Nkululeko Nkosi scored the winning goal, ending the match in a 3-2 win for his team.
